Please note, that POSHDOC is HTML and as such based on a freely available but copyrighted open standard. POSHDOC is a convention for using HTML in a specific way and for specific purposes.

While you are allowed to craft your HTML files any way you like and can do so of course in the same or similar way as described by POSHDOC, please do not use the term POSHDOC for describing a different file format or formatting convention.

We will actively seek for adoption of POSHDOC as an open standard in order to maintain permanent public access to it.
